Carolyn, that’s exactly what happened to mine. Must be a Kindle adapter weakness then… what a shame. I might need to add that to my review of the Kindle Fire. Other than that, I’ve loved this thing!

Not sure how he’s doing it but my 16 year old has broken 2 kindle fire adapters- in each case the prongs have broken off.

I loved the last question about choosing your last meal. This is not something most of us have to deal with and I suppose if we did, at some point in a dystopian future, steak and lobster and wine wouldn’t feature in it. Am now trying to prepare my future self for sauteed raccoon, braised beetles, and a vintage pine needle wine.

Wow! This is VERY exciting! It sounds as though Ms. Seymour might be on the verge of entering the rarefied heights of such writers as Anne Rice and Stephanie Meyer… to climb those heights will REQUIRE excellent copy editing. I’m really excited, based on the review here, to read MOROAICA and hopefully a series of books to follow! I really hope the author will take the advice to heart!

This sounds like an awesome book. I read a bit of an excerpt of it and wondered if it might not work as a young adult book too, as well as one for adults. I liked the first-person tone, like you did, of seeing inside her head. I’m looking forward to picking this one up when I get paid. It’s on my reading list!

It sounds like a good read for a vacation! Something to tote along to a beach somewhere warm and read while sipping an icy beverage containing rum and fruit juices, adorned with skewered fruit and little umbrellas. After cleaning the skewered fruit and little umbrellas from the reading material (virtual or hard copy), I’ll look forward to getting to know the characters.
